big and carrie’s relationship is one of my favourites. probably because its fairly similar to most of mine (for my age).  somehow, big just DOES it for me.  like, he is the ultimate man. he’s what i would want to marry. i have always loved how complicated their relationship is and how many things theyve been through. i mean, aidian and the cheating and the heartbreak and natasha … what a fucking mess.  but.  love is love, and no bullshit, it’s hard. and i am so proud of them both for sticking it out. i can only hope to follow their example.  i love that satc is actually realistic about relationships. that’s why women love it. because ist not a romantic comedy. its just honest. when fate has two folks in mind for each other… and when you really posses a love that strong… i guess anything can happen, huh? rant/ partir:(via milkteef)
